Before you buy a pump, try the solution listed that says take off the rubber ring on the probe on the door. This lets it go in further. I actually ended up also putting a 1/4 inch extension on the probe so that it can activate the limit switch. With the unit stopped when it hits the drain cycle point, open the door and try pushing in the switch with a pencil. It should start up if the problem is a short probe.

If not use pump 3363394 and tilt the machine back to expose the pump. Two clips hold the pump as well two hoses and clamps. From here it pulls off the motor and the new pump is installed. Please note position of clamps and clips to ensure a good repair, observe then repair. PS A&E is a Sears company geared for third party warrantees which makes them useful!

If this dryer is 10 years old or more do not spend any money on it!
The new ones are much more efficient! If you have to replace it buy a Speed Queen , it will do 8 loads a week for 25 years!
It's the last washer and dryer I will ever buy!!!! And less expensive than a top of the line unit!

Kenmore 90 Plus Series washer washer takes forever

is the cold water all the way on?

if so, the first thing to do would be to check the screens in the cold water fill hose and the screen in the cold side of the water valve on the back of the machine. if that is not the problem then replace the water valve.

(turn the water off before taking the hose loose)

Kenmore Series 90 washing machine, won't start cycle

First, see the Sears Parts site for your washer:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=110.26912691&pathTaken=partSearch

Next, see the Whirlpool / Kenmore Service manual for top load, direct drive washers:

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/f7e2147fa98b28cf85257122007475cb/$FILE/L-55.pdf

I hate to say it but it sounds like a Timer problem.

I'd use the troubleshooting section of the Service Manual and the timer testing procedures to confirm the problem.

Note that there are two types of timers with different procedures to remove them.

Also see the following for how to release the console for access to the timer and other controls.

sounds like the motor coupler broke. it's a plastic piece near the motor and very easy to replace.

Kenmore Series 90 top loading washing does not fill with water

Well you eliminated the fill valve when you said it does fill with water. More than likely its a bad connection on the control board. I wouldn't betmy paycheck on it but thats where I'd start. Take the cover off the control board and while machine is on being really careful wiggle each wire until the water starts in the tub and you have found the problem.

Aside from complete disassembly & cleaning it, try a hot wash on full with nothing in it except a bunch of bleach.
