The knob to turn on the timer has broken. Where can I get a replacement
I had the same problem where the time knob broke. I filled in a claim form on the Oster Website and they answered within 3 days saying the timer knob was discontinued and no longer available. They proposed to replace the whole toaster-oven with another model 6073-33 which I received last week. I've to say that their customer service was amazing.
FIRST UNDERSTAND , there is nothing about this oven thats OSTER except the name oster subcontracts the work out to a china co that makes the oven and put there name on it out of the factory in china it costs $4.00 shipping to the USA $1.00 oster gets them and ships them to wallmart and bills wal mart 24.00 and you buy it and its 36.00 .... its still only a 5.00 oven to oster why would oster ever sell parts for a 5.00 unit ? you think 36.00 is a lot ? in my shop i have a proctor silex toaster made in 1972 that sold for 29.99 in 72. back then that was a lot of money ,if you needed parts you could get them ....... todays appliances cost nothing to make thats why you cant find anyone that sells parts for them , there are no parts books on this oven ,in this country . i think your stuck

The timer control knob has broken. It seems the plastic material is not strong enough. Where can I find a replacement part as well as procedures to replace the thing
Our knob is also broken....Where do you get another one that will last more than six months. I called Sears where we puchased the toaster oven about six months ago and he said he couldn't locate the part with the model number I gave him. Why is this so difficult to replacce?
It is very difficult to toast bread in this oven because half the time the element doesn't come on to toast. It's quite the challenge at times. My friend gave up and bought a regular toaster. Is this why this toaster oven has been discontinued? I don't relish the hact of using a screw driver to turn it on but it's useless without this knob. You would think they would make this knob metal because you constantly have to twist it.
Gi figure......... Oh well, any solutions?
I too have Oster toaster oven model 6192-33 purchased at Costco 1.5 yrs ago. Same timer button problem Cannot find a trave of the model anywhere. Will advise if I find an alternate solution.
We have model 6232 too and the timer knob broke today. Has anyone found it yet? We have been using the over for just over a year and would like to continue to use it without a screw driver! Thanks
The timer control knob on my toaster oven (model 6192-33) has broken too. From the other customers experiences posted here I think it's a waste of time trying to contact the company. I will have to consign my toaster to the landfill, Way to go Oster! Toast the environment with your cheap products.
