Question about Pioneer DEH-P5900IB CD Player

Pioneer DEH-P4900IB Changing Time and Date

How do you change time and date with the 4900IB...I've tried to do everything from using the function button to even pressing the small clock button to adjust the clock and date..Can anyone help?

When the radio is off hold the on the left bottom side for about 3 or 4 seconds and a menu should come on....keep hitting that button till the time comes on. use the up down left right to change it and once ur done just turn on the radio...good lucj

1st wait till the Pioneer logo is scrolling across. Then hit the Function button for 3 - 4 seconds.

I was having trouble like you but I think I figured it out. First be on tuner with it on. Next push in the volume knob. Hold for 3-4 seconds, you will see pioneer flash on screen. Next hold function button, lower left. The time and date will pop up. Use left and right arrow to go to desired change then up and down to actually change. Some might be unneeded but if you follow those exact steps it should work for you as well. I know how annoying this probably was for you.

Use VOM meter to see if you have DC Voltage coming out of speaker leads. It should go up as you turn volume knob.

I have a Pioneer DEH-P4900IB and I need to know what the remote turn on wire color is thanks or can you give me the complete wire chart thanks


remote turn on for amplifier should be blue/white. remote turn on for a power antenna will be blue. using the blue wire to turn an amp on will shut it off when leaving tuner mode.

Sterio is new to me and has no instruction how do you set the clock to it model # DEH-1800


hey mate try turning the head unit off then there should be a fnc (function) button while the unit is off hold this button in for 5sec should bring up a menu with date/time and other functions after the menu is up just press the function button normally to scroll thru the menu

How do i take outa PIONEER DEH-4900IB


you need the stereo keys and if you don't have them witch i believe you don't have them then you have to take it to a shop or if you do have the keys then remove the small bezel around the stereo then insert the keys on each side of the stereo then just pull and it will slide right out

With the power OFF, press and hold the FUNC button until date and time are displayed, use the UP/DN/RT/LT toggle to change values and positions, once time and date are set, turn unit ON.

Can't change time


With unit OFF. Press and hold the FUNC button until the time and date are shown on the display.
Use the shuttle UP/DN/RT/LT control to set values and change positions. When satisfied with your entries, turn unit ON and you should be good to go.

Can't set the clock on my pioneer deh-6000 car stereo


this is loads of fun....with the unit OFF, press and hold the FUNC button until the time and date appear on the display (one of the units on time or date will be blinking. Use the up/down/right/left control to change numbers and position....when satisfied with date and time, turn unit ON and your good to go.

Time change on Pioneer car radio


With power OFF, press and hold the FUNC (or CLK) button until the date and time are displayed. Use the up/down/left/right control to set numbers and change positions....when happy with date and time turn unit ON..should be good to go.

Changing the time
