I had this problem too.

To solve it:

After you've paired it with your PS3 keep the mic on and go to accessory options on the XMB and find the bit to change the settings with a mic. Now there should be a bit that says input device and output device. You need to change them both to your mic's name and give the settings the OK at the bottom.

I need a tv bluetooth adapter for a westinghouse tv

No such thing as a Blue Tooth Adapter Your source must be Blue Tooth and there is no adapter for that situation. Blue Tooth is a format all of it's own. Output from you Blue Tooth (DVD or video console like PS3) device
those are either HDMI or Component Video. Required for increased resolution.

No other input will suffice. When you get it working properly Blue Tooth is very high res. You will be pleased with the picture.

Do you need to upgrade your TV? or? Happy to help...

Were trying to ste logitech g25 to our ps3 with great difficulty.we are on manage bluetooth devices and it started scanning but this has been going on for a while.is there any advice someone can give us.

yes, okay.. there should be the turn on button on your blue tooth headset, make sure the blue tooth headset is off.. now before you start the scan, hold down the power button for the blue tooth until it starts blinking colors.. usually red and clue, then start the scan, the pass code for the blue tooth will also be 0000, it is for mostly every single one

You have a faulty bluetooth headset. Replace with another headset.

I have 3 of them that I rotate around and they work great!
