Yes, the base is called a pan and it can be replace with a plastic pan, or they have a liquid whic can be poured thru standing water and seal rusted pan leaks.. >Check out Palmer Supply in OKlahoma on the web-page but if you need the plastic pan check out the company of the unit web-page! Thank-you-very-much!

I have an intertherm furnace model number 901282 and it will not heat my house when i turn on the thermostat it starts but just blows out cold air pleases help

The blower should come on after ignition occurs. When the blower comes on first ignition will not be activated as the thermostat signal shows the heat is on. This happens when the blower relay is stuck in the on condition

Intertherm/nordyne furnace (24 years old)

Shut off power, get a small wrench, remove orifice spuds and clean them with toothpick. Take burners out and clean rust from them. Check and see if you are getting 24 volts to gas valve. If not replace it.

I have an intertherm electric furnace Mod#901282. it keeps cutting out and does not come on all the time. any suggestions? also is it possible to convert the electric furnace over to gas

Sounds **** a sequencer problem. As far as converting to gas. I would go with outside package gas unit. Works great and you do not have the noise. James

Intertherm to Honeywell thermostat

Typically if you have a yellow wire in the "y" terminal blue is used as common or "c". As far as your jumper from rc to rh, that will depend upon what type of heat you have. If all of your heat and cooling come from your packaged unit outside, yes you will need the jumper. If this does not work maybe you have a bad breaker or transfomer.
