If this is a machine with two fill hoses, then you have them the wrong way round. to check, put on rinse and cold water should come in. if not, swap the hoses round. don't rely on what you house plumbing says is hot or cold - this is often wrong

The nF error code stands for "No Fill."

If you have just installed your washer and it will not fill, or the display shows nF, check the following:

  • Make sure the door to the unit is tightly closed.
  • Make sure that both the hot and cold water lines are connected (cold to the cold and hot to the hot)
    • Note: If you do not have a hot water source, you can hook up the cold water source to the cold input on the back of the washer and another cold water source to the hot input on the back of the washer (but NEVER a hot water source to the cold water input on the back of the washer).

I believe the water temp switch is bad. It will start filling on warm then stop if I put it on hot it will fill with cold water. I have cut the hot water off to achieve this but when it reaches rinse it...

it sounds to me that the hoses are connected to the machine incorrectly. Typically if the plumber ran the water lines behind washer correctly the hot pipe is on the left and the cold pipe is on the right sometimes thats backward and be determined by touching hoses while filling on warm setting and see which hose feels hot. On the back of washer they where they connect hot goes on the bottom and cold on top

It will not fill from cold water for either wash or rinse. Timer advances and hot water works.

Remove the cold water hose and make sure the screen in the washer inlet is not plugged. Put the hose in the tub and turn on cold water if it flows freely and your screen is clean unplug washer and remove the hot/cold water inlet and replace. You should be able to get parts locally. Of course you can always get them on the net.

Washer Fills HOT WATER ONLY

If you checked the screens at the water inlet valve and they were not clogged, then you probably have a defective water inlet valve and will have to replace it. Hope this helped.

Bosh error code E02

Hi. I had the same problem with my Bosch washing machine and called Bosch...was told the same thing...$99.00 for service call. I managed to fix my problem by doing the following:
  • Removed hot & cold water supply hoses.
  • Took filter screens out of both hoses.
  • Removed filter from cold inlet on back of washing machine. I noticed some oily buildup on both of the cold screens so opted to not put any of them back in.
  • Then I put hot & cold water supplies back on the wall hookup, but crossed the lines where they came into the back of the machine intentionally so that the hot water line fed into the cold side of the washing machine and vice versa.
  • Then I ran a couple loads on "cold" which was actually hot water coming in to the machine.
The reason I did this was that I figured there must be some more waxy buildup inside the machine in the cold lines and hoped the hot water would melt it like when you rinse a greasy pan under hot water. IT WORKED!!! I hope this helps you.
