I have the same problem but only the bake button does not register unless I clean the contact on the board with a Q-Tip. Even then it goes back to not working after a few days or hours.

The control pannel will not allow us to change the oven temp. It's permanently on the default temp of 350. Is it worth fixing?

  • levibarjonas Apr 01, 2009

    Cannot increase temp.

My control panel has also fallen in on itself.  The more button doesn't work, either.  The landlord thinks he can fix it, but I am far from optimistic.  How much does the replacement part run?  Not that I have to pay for it, but the owners are in a "budget situation".  I can't wait to us the oven again!

For Kenmore 7903019400 wall oven error code F 11, the touchpad/keyboard is the replacement part called the clock/timer? as clock/timer or range control panel are only parts listed? so which part is it

F11 means a shorted button on the button board. This could actually be a shorted button, or it could be a bad connection to the embedded microprocessor. There is literally no way to tell without actually testing the unit. If the EOC module (electronic operator control) comes with a button pad, change them both out if you can't test them separately. Kenmore has other manufacturers make their equipment for them (frigidaire, whirlpool, electrolux, etc), so the generic equivalent board may be cheaper to buy somewhere else than sears. Your local appliance service center will know what parts fit what sears models. The model number you provided is useless to me. 25321842-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-0.jpg

I have a black Maytag Gas Range stove the oven wont heat up. The ignition what i think it is, is glowing but when I tap the bottom of the stove it will light. What part do I need and where can I get it....

Hi

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Need to set clock on oven

Instructions
    • 1

Check the oven to ensure that it is off and that the timer isn't running. The buttons used to set the clock are the same buttons that adjust the oven, and you may end up making unintended adjustments to the oven.

    • 2

Press the "Clock" button to enter the clock setting mode. The LCD will show the current time set on the oven.

    • 3

Use the "Set Temp/Time +" or "Set Temp/Time -" buttons to adjust the clock to the current time. Depending on your model of stove you may need to use the "Hour," "Min" or the "Temp/Hour" up and down arrow buttons to set the time.

    • 4

Save the new clock setting by pressing the "Start" button. Depending on your stove model, you may need to press the "Clock" button a second time if the "Start" button does not work.

No lights on the control panel including the clock. the burners work but no lights at all for the oven or timers ets. MAYTAG Model: MER6769BAW

I would check the wiring first. Look for any loose connections to the board or any burnt wires. If all that is good you have no choice but to replace the clock.

I just replaced both the igniter and safety valve for the oven. When I plug in the oven, the oven comes on and stays on without setting the bake temp. The flame wont go out unless I unplugthe power

Your electronic oven control(clock) has failed in a short circuit mode.
Approximate cost is $120.
Go to repairclinic. com and enter your model number for a replacement electronic oven control.
