Problem for Toshiba MW20FP1 20 in. TV/VCR/DVD Combo
TV wont stay on
the problem iam having is ill turn the tv on for about 5 or 10 minutes and then it shuts itself off and i cant turn it back on unless i unplug it for a few minutes then plug it back in and it will come back on only to shut back off! any ideas as to what it might be would be greatly appreciated thanks! tony

- After a five or ten minute span the tv turns off. If I unplug it for a five or ten minute span it will come on again. However, it may turn off after a few minutes or it may run for hours. Always a question as to how long it will last. My tv is the 20" flat screen withiout the dvd player. Ken - kberkovBest Solution

TRY THESE STEPS
>Check the buttons on the TV make sure they are clean and not sticking.
>Check the Remote Control buttons and see if they are sticking
>Clean the Face of the infer Red lens to the remote and the TV...
clean them with a small rag or paper towel (Do Not USE Abrasives to clean any part of your Electronics)
>Check the plug for any defects
>Reset your tv back to it,s factory settings
>And if any thing locate your user manual and find the 1-800 number
