Question about GE Wireless Optical Mini Mouse 3087897985

1 Answer

Wireless Mouse I have a GE Wireless Mouse Rev. S1 and from time to time, it just stops functioning normally; the scroll ball in particular. I'll go to the Favorites box on the side of the Internet Explorer and when I go to scroll down, it'll automatically scroll back up unless I use the mouse on my laptop. I tried cleaning inbetween the scroll bar, but it didn't work. What can I do?

Have you changed the batteries recently?

Normal 0 Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this. Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.

If it’s a wireless GE mouse turn it on by pushing the button on the bottom and hold till the red light comes on. Assuming the computer is running, press the Blue light on the Receiver and then, press the button on the bottom of the mouse and it should start tracking on the monitor.
Hope this helps. Bud

Does the mouse and/or keyboard have a "connect" button on the bottom of either? Try restarting your PC, then, if you have installed new batteries, and the mouse/keyboard is still not connected, try the "Connect" button if any.

Any solution for apple wireless mouse not able to scroll-happens frequently-I do all the usual things, ie: cleaning scroll ball with a toothbrush, alcohol, etc. Works for a while, sometimes an hour, day,...

if you're having issues with a "mighty mouse" let me tell you that no matter how well you clean it, the problem will continue. If you can't get a free replacement from Apple, the best experience for us at my office has been to move to Logitech bluetooth mice. Logitech V270 Cordless Optical Bluetooth Mouse works great and you have all the functions you need like scrolling, right and left click, etc.
