Question about Projection Televisions

1 Answer

My TV was working fine and I pushed what I thought was the Volume on the side of it, but instead i changed the channel and now the TV is saying " no Signal" I think its as easy as changing the channel back, but when I flip through the options it does not get a single on any of the channels and I can not punch in any numbers with my remote, it does not respond to the TV, just the cable. What Should I do?

It sounds like you are on one of the video inputs of the tv. Look for a button that says input, aux, video, etc. on the set or remote.

The error is likely to be from the satellite as the set model listed does not have that kind of error.

REMOTE LOCKED

On most television remotes, there are buttons to control other units. If these buttons are hit by accident, then the remote acts like you described. Look at the top of the remote and find the button that says TV. Push it and it should start working normal. Since I'm not at my shop, I don't know the exact button or names. If this doesn't work, respond to this post and I will reply when I have a schematic in front of me.

Convergence issue

You can go back to factory settings by pressing and holding the ACTION and POWER buttons on the TV while it is on. A CHK screen will appear and when it does release the buttons and then power the set off then on again. This had reset all settings back to factory conditions. You will have to reprogram any channels into memory after this.
