My father gave me his seldom (maybe 6 times) used Toshiba Pocket PC e330. When in the cradle or directly powered by cord, it works fabulously. When removed from the cradle or cable it shuts off within 15 seconds. I cannot find any information online regarding battery change instructions......Can anyone help?
The Toshiba Pocket PC e330 is shipped with an Enabled security feature, which switches off the batteries.
In order to be able to turn on the unit, the Battery Switch must be in a battery "Supply" position. Please check if the Battery Switch is in a Stop position or Supply position.
The Battery Switch can be found on the lower left edge of the unit, next to the "DC-In Socket".
Please see the below diagram
The Battery Switch supplies or stops power to the Pocket PC. When using the Pocket PC for the first time, slide this switch to the left with the stylus pen.
If you have further questions, please refer to the Instruction Manual page 2-3 (20 of 105).
