Question about GE Profile Arctica Stainless Steel Top Freezer Refrigerator
Our refrigerator is about 4 years old. The freezer and refrigerator has stopped working. It did start working again, after it was left unplugged for a couple of days, but quit again.
Thanks for you help.
OK, it sounds like you have a defrost problem. When left unplugged for a few days the frost melted off the evaporator (the cooling coils behind the freezer wall) but after you ran it again, the coils blocked the air flow again, usually happens after a week or so, depending on # of door openings, humidity in home, etc. Most likely you have a burnt out defrost heater.
