The Amplifier will have wierd, notched, circular speakon cable connectors on the back, two, one for main left and one for main right. Press the button in on your speakon cable connector and twist it and lock it into place on the amplifer for right and left attachments, then do the same to your speakers.

Hopefully this helps.

My powered mixer Behringer is buzzing

Make sure the buzz doesn't happen because of feedback of speakers into mics. When feedback is processed it often goes to a buzz instead of the usual howl.

Also check that you are running adequate inout into the effect since a very low inout will incur digitizing noise and loss of signal=to-noise ratio.

Behringer pmh mixer manual. 20 channel 800watt powered mixer no speaker output. I need to test the power supply and the amp modual. Thanks

Are there lights or effects windows lit up? If so, the power supply is likely OK.

If neither speaker is working, that is bad however make sure all your trims and sliders are right to send audio through. Some have a standby switch.

This probably has an HCA2400 amp board in it and those can burn up for various reasons including loose speaker cables.

I need a service manual for a behringer pmh500 powered mixer

If LED's or other indicators are lighting, then the power supply is likely OK.

If nothing lights, then the supply has fried and LIKELY fried as a result of one of the power amps shorting.

Can't get sound to speakers

No preamp required. I just repaired one I got from Ebay.. There are a lot of buttons on the unit and you need to have several of them set correctely to get output. This is a powerful amp and you can blow speakers easily so be careful. Make sure the standby switch is up. Most important: The slide switch should be clear UPWARD to the L/R speaker position.
The white trim control(s) need to be up to match the input source levels. Advance the faders for the cahnnel(s) being used. Advance the MAIN to control overall volume. That should get you started.
MAKE SURE your source is plugged into the CORRECT input jack as there are "inserts" and you will get not output or very weak output if you are in the wrong jacks.

New behringer powered mixer, comes on, but doesn't hear anything.

Fan comes on with temperature rise. Not a problem if off till you start driving speakers loud.

Make sure standby switch is up. The slide switch is up to A/B.
The main fader iis up. Your input fader(s) are up. The trim controls are up enough. Inputs are plugged to input and not the inserts.

Be careful... this unit has a lot of power and can blow speakers.

Component speaker not working

The easiest thing to test is to try swapping the connections of the front component speakers at the amp connections. If the problem follows the speakers, the issue is probably with the speakers. I would triple check (again) the speaker wire connections. It's also possible the crossover for the driver side component speakers has an issue (thus why the tweeter worked for a while).

If the problem stays on the drivers side, the issue is probably with that channel on the amp. Triple check the RCA connections for that channel.

It's much easier to test other speakers on an amp channel versus trying to check it with a meter.

If the driver's door is "abused" often, my initial thought is the wiring at the speaker or the wiring in the speaker (to voice coil, within the crossover, etc) is the most likely culprit.
