Hi, I have a HP Mini 210-1170 netbook. After turning it on, the screen is at a desktop screen, but no tool bars nor icons are shown. The curser moves, so I don't think it's frozen... but I also don't...

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del - the Task Manager should pop up. Click File, click Run, type explorer , click OK and the icons and the taskbar should appear.

How do i reset or fix a stuck cursor a frozen lap top dell inspiron E1505 it booting up and coming on but the cursors not moving, it seems like everthing works except the curser

Try uninstalling the drivers for the mouse first, then reboot to see if that works. Don't worry, the drivers will reinstall automatically upon reboot.

Hope this helps. :)

Dell inspiron 700 laptop. curser is frozen. what should I do?? thanks for any help

Check to find out if the problem is software (a corrupt driver - reinstall it) or hardware (trackpad disabled or faulty). In between use a PS2 mouse.

My Aspire 5520-5140's curser constantly jumps all over the screen. I can barely finish a sentence without using my mousepad to reposition it.

You might have spyware messing with your mouse.
I suggest download Ad Aware 2008 (free software)
and run a full scan.

Frozen curser in center of screen

If it is a USB mouse, try unplugging it and plugging into a different port. If that works, try then returning it to the original port.
