My dewalt 3800 presher washer gas, is not getting any spark. 1) new spark plug 2) new spark plug wire I still do not get any spark. What could it be?

spark plug wire? do you mean coil? if you have no spark. i would check the plug first. then the coil assuming the on of switch is good. unplug the coil kill wire and try it. if it starts then you have a switch or wiring problem. if it don't start it is likely the coil is bad.

Look more closely at the 1 and 4 coil, also, check for trigger signal to these coils. I mostly suspect the trigger unit.

I have no spark on my 1980 kdx 80 bought a new coil but not sure if that's the issue cause I can feel spark with the old coil but I can't see it any help ??

If you can't see the spark, maybe the gap is set too short?!--Typicaly, with a "no spark" issue, you want to make sure that you have a good spark plug & plug wire/boot. If all those are good, then you need to check your coil...a good coil should test AT LEAST 3.2ohms on a multimeter to provide adequate spark to the plug. If the plug, wire/boot, & coil are all good, then it's a safe bet that you need a new cdi/tci box, as that unit is what sends the signal to the coil to create the spark.

P0302 mis fire, lacks power

Pull the spark plug of cylinder 2. Put the coil on the spark plug. Ground the sparkplug and have someone crank the engine. See if you see a spark. If you have no spark switch coils with another cylinder. If still no spark it could be one of the wires going to the ignition coil. If there is a spark do you smell gas at the spark plug hole? Could be no fuel to the cylinder.

Ignition coil problematic primary feed

older post.
how many miles, how many miles for the last tuneup.????

The PCM CREATES spark. on all cars since about 1991.
the only changes are where they hid the IGNITOR.
or how may spark coils you have.
my guess, is your enigne is 3.8L just like my 08
where is the coil pack, well see those spark plug wires.
the go directly to the top mounted coil pack. see that?

the PCM monitors the rail coil , the 3.8 has a 3 COIL pack.
and each coil runs 2 cylinders. like this.
so what is the first thing to do here.
easy , put in new spark plugs.
try doing the tuneups. in the glove box guide.
page 433 , at 102,000 miles. spark plugs and cables.
mine has only 60,000 miles, and they both were bad.
spark plugs and HV, wires so I upgraded to NGK mag wires.
and new NGK plugs.
if it still fails, then try a new coil pack.

HV= high voltage wire sets.

I got code PO 305 on a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis, what is the spark plug wire part called
This will have a direct coil over ignition with a coil over each spark plug. The coil is the electrical part over the spark plug. The coil also has a rubber part that is called the boot or spark plug boot. The boots can be purchased separately but the coils will come with new boots.

is it #5 coil,

Have you checked to see if there is any spark coming out of the number 5 coil?

and should I replace the coil and spark plug and what should the spark plug be gapped at?

When was the last time the spark plugs where changed? It may be due for all the spark plugs to be changed. The spark plug gap is usually listed on the emissions sticker under the hood. It should be .050 - .056 or very close to that.
