In any English OS version, your @ key is always located at number 2, even though your keyboard displays it in letter "Q"

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Some of my keyboard buttons are typing numbers when i press a letter. what do i do?

This issue could be from viruses. I have come across a few viruses that switched around a few of the keys from letters to numbers. Have a technician or someone you know who's computer savvy do some virus removal on your laptop.

Also, make sure that the Fn key isn't activated. Sometimes haven't that activated will turn letters into numbers without you even knowing.

Hope this helps.

My dell laptop types numbers instead of letters on some keys without pressing fn key

HI,
If you Are writing numbers instead of letters when you press the keyboard of your laptop and you must hold down the Function key (Fn) to write normally.

This is due to the fact that the digital lock is activated. To solve this, simply press the Fn+Numlk or depending of the model, press the button or Fn + Shift +Numlk

Hope This Helps
THANK YOU

When I type a letter I i get 5 or 6 not the letter??

You've probably got number lock activated / deactivated. This is especially common if you're using a laptop computer. Look for the "Num Lock" button on your keyboard and try pressing it. If you're using a laptop and the Num Lock button is a different color, you might need to hold another key "Fn", Shift, Cntrl, etc while pressing "Num Lock".

Keyboard letters all mixed up???

Make sure the "Num Lock" key isn't activated (LED Off).
Windows 2000 / XP actually saves the last "Num Lock" setting when you log off and restores it when you restart.
