I cant get Voice Dial to work with my contact list.

Its complaining on there being over 3000 phone numbers in the list. I actually have over 6800 contacts and around 15000 phone numbers. The phone I just upgraded from (Hitachi G-1000, they dont make it anymore) didnt have a problem managing all the names and numbers. Is there another product I should be looking at that will accomplish what I need or must I reduce the number of phone numbers below 3000?
