Question about Toshiba Satellite A135 Notebook
I believe that my son's laptop was hit by a power surge. Whenever we try to turn it on, the blue light by the power bitton lights up, and the little blue LED next to the power logo in the bottom left corner stays lit, but nothing else seems to be working. I've tried booting on AC power and battery. I've already removed and replaced the memory and harddrive.
Is this something that I can fix at home, or is it time for a new laptop
Power surge only affects the ac adapter... replacing it might do the trick... and/or have it repaired by a certified electronics technician...
