Question about HP Photosmart M527 Digital Camera
When I turn in the m527 camera, a red screen appears stating thet card is unable to format. to press ok and after I do it states unable to read.. I do not tthink it is the sd card bacuse I tried several of them and thay all do not work.... what do i do.. The camera is practically new....the sd card will not work in the walgreens machine but the old one does, only the one that was in the camera at the time of this malfunction.. please help
The first thing you will have to check the card. There is slot on the
card that contains a switch. This will lock the card so that it is
write-protected. This will cause the unsupported card error.
If the card looks fine, try a card reader just to confirm that the card has not been corrupted.
If the card is functional and you can read its contents from the PC or another SD-slot device, then the issue is your camera. The slot contains thin copper prongs that comes in contact the copper surface on the back of the SD card. If the prongs are bent or damage, then the camera cannot read your card.
