It keeps turning on by itself

Just service it. replace the lamp and the air filter

Try taking any dvd or tape out of the unit, then using the remote, hit the menu button on the remote. From there, go to the set up or preferences menu. (If you havent set a parental lock code, you may need to do that first.) You can set your preference for what rating and how often the parental lock is in effect.

The units aren't paired. Call Graco at 800-345-4109 to have them walk you through pairing it. I'll try to explain what they just walked me through:

-Turn off all units. Make sure nursery and 1st parent unit is plugged directly into wall.
-Hold negative volume down on 1st parent unit. Keep holding it down.
-Press on button on 1st parent unit and let go.
-When you hear a beep, let go of negative volume button on 1st parent unit and then press it again.
-When you hear the second beep, let go of the negative volume button.
-If you have done it correctly, the 1st parent unit should have one red light at the bottom and the rest of the lights should be green.
-Turn on nursery unit and the 1st parent unit should pair with it.
-Repeat the above with the 2nd parent unit.

First try seeing if your dvd has a options button on the remote.If it does you may be able to find the specific choice that lets you reset it.Otherwise try turning on your dvd and having it run without a disk in it.A dvd menu itself might show up and give you options.

Hopefully you still have the remote.

On Remote, hold the Q.V. button down and press the number 9. That will bypass the lock

Then press the menu button on the remote - go to Advanced features, select Parental Lock - it should sho as on, hold the Q.V. button doown and press the 9 button again, and you will turn the lock off

After you set the time ,do you push the Clock button to lock your time??If you set the clock time and walk away its not holding the time ,because its waiting for you to confirm time selected.So after you set the time press the clock key pad 1 more time .Remember this, just because you bought a new clock doesnt mean its a good part.Bad parts get the best of us ,so dont think your new part is ok yet.It probably is not.

with the tv off press and hold the volume down button on the tv & clear button on the remote for 5 to 7 seconds. perhaps you can borrow a friends remote for a day to fix it. good luck.

help the volume on my tv keeps going up and no one is touching it! please help. my parents cannot afford a new tv
