My pioneer cd player PD- m501 skips tracks and cds sometimes!!! why?

it could be lots of things, how many hours of use your player has? (laser opticals have a life time) are you using cheap recorded CD's? ar the speakers too close to the player (loud base could make it skip) the laser optical could be dirty try a cleaning disk.

Good luck!

Display doesn't work on TEAC PD H300mkIII

I had the same issue today. I found that opening the unit you can see that there is a white ribbon cable connecting the head unit to the main board. removing this cable and re-inserting it the connector fixed the problem. The display now works again...hope this helps

I have a pioneer cdj 500 cd deck. Havent used it for a while , put cd in, makes a quiet whirring noise as if its about to start turning and then displays error 192. Cd door wont open, help please

You could try to spray some oil into the spindlemotor, sometimes(very rare) they tend to stick a bit and will not turn properly or keep the right speed.

try a lens cleaning cd,if this doesnt work is more than likely optic (laser) faulty as laser has to focus first before spinning disc.if it cannot focus disc will not spin..
