Question about Televison & Video

Printer (2410) is unreliable when the last two sheets slip up together. This is also a problem that messes up much paper and wastes ink when doing two sided work. I have to do the one side and all is well. I turn them over and invariably somewhere in the middle two slip together and the pages are out of order for the rest of the work. I must repeat disgustedly the messed up pages and go one by one. Tom Roach tlchosen@eastlink.ca What can I do????? If anything. Switch to Cannon?

First of all my problem is not addressed,it has nothing to do with television. Please send this to the proper department. To tell me to look at the manual is useless as it does not address ths said problem of poor printing on the 2410 printer. you need to get a warm body on the subject. PLEASE. Tom Roach

Please; my problem has nothing to do with television. My question has to do with my HP printer. I have already told you that problem .If it has slipped through the cracks, let me know and i will repeat it. IF NOT PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY!

    respectfully, Tom Roach

If I must insert paper one by one I will go get a Cannon printer. they can print more than one page without taking two sheets and messing up the sequence when two siding.

This is NOT a satisfactory answer.!!!!!

In your printer where you feed the paper is called the paper feeder tray.in that tray in the lower area there are two small gears on both the sides.just clean that gears if some dust is blocking them .and check whether the gears are cracked you have to replace them.you can replace it with new as they are not to costly .they are called as paper feeder gears.

pls do rate the solution

thanks.

There is a solenoid on the right side of the printer which stops the toothed gear. You can see this if you open the printer cover exposing the inside of the printer. On the solenoid there is a thin piece of foam which becomes sticky with age and temperature inside the printer. When the second and subsequent pages are printed, the solenoid the metal flap sticks to the solenoid and hence the timing of the feeding of paper is messed up ........

The cause for this problem is worn out pickup roller and separation pad fail to properly grip paper, causing paper jam.

Please let me know is it desk jet printer type? If yes, then in my opinion, 2 papers got stitch together due to humidity in printed ink.

U just insert a paper one by one ...else keep the first paper a few inch ahead of rest paper...this pro may cause due to over air pressure in a roller..

Starting last night our tv has had a "ghost" thing

What you have is a very common convergence issue which could either be rather spendy if you take it to a technician like me. It usually costs approximately between $300-$400 if yo bring it to someone who knows what they are doing OR you could go to www.tvrepairkits.com and order the convergence repair kit for about $75-$80. Ed will set you up with the resistors, the integrated circuits, thermal paste, and step by step directions. It would take a novice about an hour and a half to complete the repair and you would save yourself some money. Sorry, there is no scan option to fix it.

Hey,

3 years, its definitely a problem in the printer head or the cardridges, try performing the print head cleaning a few times, also alingment? You can also clean the carts and connectors yourself.

Thanks,

I have a Samsung 50" HDTV DLP TV that I purchased 10/12/2008. I turned the set on the other day and it would come on generate a normal picture then power itself off. I unplugged the set for a few hours...

Try cleaning the dust out of the ventilation slots. Check your owner's manual to see if there is an air filter that needs to be cleaned out periodically. If the set is overheating, it will shut down.

If you still have problems you may have a dying power supply capacitor. There are several off-brand companies making cheap but unreliable components; a number of manufacturers have had problems with these suppliers in the last several years.

Another possibility is a tin whisker short. Tin whiskers are a drawback of lead-free solder. These microscopic slivers of metal grow out of solder and can get long enough to short-circuit to something else. This would be tough to find, especially since it apparently has to expand with heat to touch whatever it is messing up.

Unable to clean

probably refers to a clogged print head. in the long run it would be cheaper to buy another unit instead of repairing old one.

Convergence IC upgrade

you should stick with the 110's. the pinout may be the same, but that doesnt mean they will work. Also you need to check all of the large 1 watt resistors by the STK's - if one is bad or out of spec it will greatly effect the picture. Remember, you need to test these OUT OF CIRCUIT.

One more thing, there may be some small Pico fuses or other fuses near the convergence power supply - check all fuses as well.

HP photosmart 7280 - when printing with Toshiba or HP notebooks (both Vista) a blank page is ejected between EACH printed page of a document. HP had no solution.

Assuming that you are connecting directly to the printer via USB, on the advanced tab under the printer properties, make sure the "Print Directly to the Printer" option is selected.

My brother hl-5250dn printer is spitting out very wrinkled paper

It could be the fuser unit. If you open the door on the back of the printer and pull open the paper path tray you will see an orange colored roller. If this roller is wrinkled even just a little it will wrinkle the paper. I purchased fuser roller units for my 5240 and 5250 printers and replaced them myself and that corrected the problem. I got the fuser units from ebay.

When I try to print on A4 paper the Canon printer pulls on the right side of the paper only and it jams. I can still print on the small sheets (A5?) or on my 4 x 6 photo paper.

Check to see if this will affect your guarantee and if so would probably not go ahead with it.

Protect yourself from shock by disconnecting the power cord from the back of the Canon printer.

Unhinge the back access panel of the printer. .
Look through the opened back panel and look for paper or any other object that should not be there. Remove any paper or obstacle you find jammed there.
Close the back access panel. Make sure that it latches back into place.
Find the front or top access panel. This is the panel you would lift to change ink cartridges. Open this access panel and look for paper or any other object that should not be there
. Remove any paper or object you find jammed here. If you find paper pull slowly or the paper will rip and create a major problem.
Close the front access panel. Make sure that it latches back in place.

Put the power back on..
