I have the same problem with a DMC-FX30: I think it is a software error because if I switch on the camera and keep the shutter button pressed, it will not zoom to max unless i get my finger off the shutter button! who can help??

Most likely cause of this problem is a stuck or defective zoom control. I have seen this one or twice. you may be able to disassemble the camera and free the zoom control if it is stuck, but it also may need to be replaced.

Zoom Buttons stopped working,manual ok

Your problem is most likely one of three things: the zoom rocker (or wires connecting it to the main control) have gone bad, the zoom motor has failed, or you have bad capacitors in the camera which are causing the controls to not operate as they should. In any case, the camera will probably need servicing to restore it to complete function.

Panasonic AG-DVC10 Startup Issue

Most likely cause for this problem is defective power switch and defective record start/stop switch. The DVC7, DVC10 and DVC15 all use similar switches, and I have repaired all three.

Any have the Panasonic ag-455 SVHS manual?

Hey I think it would difficult to find a manual for a AG-455, though being very similar to the AG-456 (which seems to be more popular) would you be happy with the manual for that model? I downloaded the AG-456 manual from somewhere last year but unfortunately can't remember from where. I do have the PDF file if you're interested though.. Would be happy to send to you if you're interested. Cheers
