Have you tried to add a mouse pad under it. I have a capricious mouse myself that has to be on a pad to work fine. If you don't have a pad just try it on a dark surface, no glass that's the worst one...
It can also be a simple battery matter, distance is also important depending of the communication technology in use.
To fix the problem, please press the connect connect button on the bottom of the mouse and the connect button on the reciever and relaese both the buttons together. this would rest the wireless connection and then the mouse should work fine.
Be sure that you have new batteries installed in the keyboard and the mouse.
After booting up into windows, plug them back in and see if windows detects them, if it does detect them it should install the drivers for the mouse and keyboard. If it doesn't then go here and download the drivers for it:
If after downloading and installing the drivers the mouse or/and keyboard still doesn't work, hit the connect button on the receiver for the keyboard and mouse. Then hit the connect button on the keybyoard and mouse.
This will make sure that both the keyboard and mouse synch with one another. If they still won't work after all these steps then you know for sure that either the keyboard and/or mouse are definitely bad and would need to be replaced.
- Try using fresh batteries. - Make sure that the switch is turned ON. - On the USB dongle and underneath the mouse, check if you will see a small connect button. If there is, hold down the connect button on both dongle and mouse at the same time for five (5) seconds and release them both. - Try moving the mouse. - Make sure that there are no possible wireless interference like base of a cordless phone or any other wireless devices such as cell phone. The wireless signal of these said devices might interfere with the wireless signal of your mouse.
Make sure the batteries are installed and are good.
Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start

button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the
If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button

should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud
Possible solutions for this (and similar problems) include:
--Replace the batteries in your wireless mouse. If the connection strength is weak, wireless accessories have a tendancy to act up.
--Re-Install / update the mouse drivers. I'm unsure if Trust has drivers available for download from their website but it would be worth checking out if the first solution does not help fix the problem.
Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the MouseReceiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
