My tungsten E recently had

my tungsten E recently had a fatal error and wiped out all 200 sddresses and telephone numbers. Since I had the backup on my Dell desktop, I purchased a new palm Tungsten E2. It would not hot sync the desktop data to the new Palm. I then installed the new program from the CD hoping it would transfer my data from the old program. Without any warning it eliminated all my backup data. Now it appears I will have to manually reestablish all the data from scratch. I cannot believe a reputable Co like Palm would design software that would wipe out your backup data!!!
