Sound driver i have a problem when reinstalled xp

    YES I ALSO HAVE SAME PROBLEM
    I DONT HEAR ANYTHING IN PC

Then go to control panel,system ,hardware ,device manager option
There if u find any question mark or exclamation mark in yellow Color that means sound drivers are not installed properly
please reinstall sound drivers properly

or else

If no question mark or exclamation mark then check the cable connections of the speaker to the machine

or else

In control panel , select sound audio devices open it there u have
volume,sounds,audio,voice,hardware options

1)See whether it is mute
2)In audio option select default audio device and recording device
should be same

this should solve u r problem .if it is not solved please let me know u r problem briefly

Go to the Axis web site and search your system and look for Drivers and Downloads. If that wont work... under your PC Specs it should tell you the Sound Card Manufacture... run a search for that driver on Google. XP has issues with PnP on Sound Cards...

sound LEAKS from your laptop? that's a new one. :)

please clarify forced installation of ur sound drivers, and if anything try reinstalling windows xp, and/or your sound drivers normally.

try going into devices and uninstalling your sound driver and reinstalling it before doing the above solution - may just fix it.

After reinstalling my sound did not effect.

Re-Install the drivers from the system disk that came with your computer. If no disk, go to the website and download the drivers for your model computer.

Sound doesn't work after reinstalling windows

yes sometimes you need sound drivers..do you have motherboard disc handy? if so just play and install sound drivers from that cd..start/settings/controlpanel/system/hardware/devicemanager

all the items you see with excemation mark needs drivers after a reinstall of XP..good luck and i hope it helps you..

Hi I have a question about notebook Lavie C LC500/, this is very old notebook. So i have reinstall on it Windows XP SP3, and now i can't find driver for sound card :( I have tryed to instal Via Vinil sound...

try "conexant" audio device... or reinstall another xp windows, I had the same trouble with my presario 6111ea and I just change the xp with another one (www.isohunt.com) it was working smoothly! I didnt reinstalled any driver and automatically every worked!
