My 3M STV Digital 6 Surround sound system is putting out a buzzing sound when I turn it on. The sound works but the buzzing sound is a pulsating sound sometimes then constant. I have removed the fuse, unplugged the box etc but the buzzing will not subside. Help....Frank

Assuming that the TV is the device that is recognizing the phone you may have to route your spdif (optical out) via optical cable to the back of your surround amplifier as a separate input to the surround system. You'll be able to select this audio through the surround receivers remote. Just note what the Optical input was named on the back of the surround receiver. The reason you have to do this is that the 'Smart' Tv is what is recognizing the phone's bluetooth or DLNA address so the video and audio are going to the tv. The only way the surround can play the audio is via the TV's optical output. Optical cables are really cheap on Amazon.com. This one is $6 and will work flawlessly if the surround receiver is less than 6 feet away. http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Digital-Optical-Audio-Toslink/dp/B001TH7GSW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425292532&sr=8-1&keywords=Spdif+cable
Unplug one of the RCA plugs one at a time, see if sound changes to no buzz but one ear channel only. The buzz can occur when RCA is not connected correctly and the video feed is put onto the earth wire of both audio feeds.
A loud hum could be caused by an Earth loop. This is caused by connecting various stereo equipment into different mains power outlets. To overcome this problem, use a power board and plug all the stereo equipment into this single power board.
You have a bad set of Audio output IC's for the sub. There is two of them. TDA7293 REPLACE BOTH!!!
There is 4 on one side of board, and 2 on other "also 1 small one" The the two are for the sub,the other 4 are for the main speakers/surround. They sell on Ebay for $6-10 each or a kit of all 6 for $25.
to get the digital you have to have the digital optical line or the coax rca jack digital audio connection from device to stereo reciever to get the dolby digital surround sound to work , otherwise you can only get a virtual surround sound from the reciever( no dolby digital )

There is most likely a voltage regulation fault, or some filter capacitors that are going defective. It would be best to have this serviced before the parts fail completely and cause some damage.
