Huskee 26 hourse power 54 inc deck/how do i change both drive belts on this tractor

The one on the deck you will have to remove the deck. Flip it upside down and replace. There will be an idler wheel with a spring on it that allows you to release tension as you put the new on. The drive belt comes from the front of the motor and loops underneath to the cutting deck. There will be a point on the deck that you can get a little wiggle room to move it forward to get the belt on.

How can I remove the deck to replace the belt?

Hi There, yep, you're right, most treadmills allow the deck to be unscrewed from the topside, but some are installed from the bottomside. Screws under the rails. Here's a trick ;o) Usually.....
a servicer can remove the front roller on the side that doesn't have the drive belt on it, which comes off anyway, but should give you more room to see things. Then, try to gently lift one-side of the deck enough to slip the old belt off and the new belt on if there are no frame rails in the way. It's much easier with two people. Rollers may need to come off to get that deck off. What make of treadmill?

I need a diagram of the drive belt and blade belts. How they run above the deck.

Ok.... I have to guess what mower you have. I am going to pass a deck belt link below. The first pitcures that will come up are for John Deere. At the top of the page you will see brands with links to the belt routing. Click on the brand name for your mower and then locate your deck.

John Deere http://opebycrigby.tripod.com/decks/jddeck.html

MTD http://opebycrigby.tripod.com/decks/mtddeck.html

Murray: http://opebycrigby.tripod.com/decks/murdeck.html

The MTD and JD links have most deck belt routing pictures that can equate to other brands.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

What lubricant can be used on the Horizon T92 Treadmill

Go to www.horizonfitness.com then click on e-store then look for part and accessories the silicon lubricant to purchase. Follow this procedure before applying lubricant.
1. Inspect belt and deck. The deck should be smooth. The belt should have a consistent feel from side to side (a belt can be worn out without any sensory signs of a problem). If you feel deep grooves in the deck or uneven wear on the underside of the belt, part replacement is necessary. Continued use of your treadmill may damage expensive electrical components.
2. To inspect the belt and deck visually or to clean underneath the belt before applying lubricant, the belt must have the tension reduced. Loosen the tension roller by following the instructions in your owner’s manual. Do not loosen the bolts in the tension roller too far or the bolts will come out of the roller shaft. This step may not be necessary for your treadmill model or belt and deck condition.
3. Contaminants are the worst enemy of your belt and deck. Some treadmills may have an excessive accumulation of dirt and contaminants. If these are trapped during the belt lube process, significant damage will occur. If contaminant removal is necessary, loosen the belt by following step 2, lay the treadmill on its’ side, and use a nylon brush to loosen contaminants that have accumulated on the inside of the belt. Clean the deck with mineral spirits in a well-ventilated area. Allow the deck to dry before lubing or tightening the belt.

Speed fluctuates up and down on my pro for ekg treadmill. It does not stay at the set speed.

You may have a belt and deck problem. Test by the following procedure: Without the power on stand on the walking belt push the belt in the direction it normally turns, if the belt is very difficult to turn (on most treadmill) this means that you have high belt/deck friction. To inspect the belt and deck visually loosen the tension roller by following the instructions in your owner’s manual Do not loosen the bolts in the tension roller too far or the bolts will come out of the roller shaft. Inspect belt and deck. The deck should be smooth without any grooves, pits. The belt should have a consistent ridged feel from one side of the belt to the other ,a belt can be worn out without any sensory signs of a problem. If you feel deep grooves in the deck or uneven wear on the underside of the belt, part replacement is necessary. Visually look at the underside of the belt. It should have a consistent look. Black streaks in the belt are a sign of bottom-layer wear through. If your belt and deck is good a simply apply lubricant and this may resolve the problem Most problem are belt and deck issues.

Deck Belt keeps coming off

I assume you mean the engine pulley by "front pulley"? Is the belt guide still in place? It bolts to the side of the frame and runs out to the engine pulley to hold the belt on when it's disengaged. Sound like your's may be missing/broken off

Cub cadet model LT1045 belt coming off the pulley for cutting deck?

FINAL SOLUTION TO FIX THE BELT FROM COMING OFF LT1045 WHILE MOWING!

I also had this issue with my LT1045 belt. However, I just figured out how to finally fix / re-engineer my LT1045 Cub Cadet from having issues with the belt coming off of the deck while mowing.

Taking it back into a shop for repairs will not work, the belt will just come off again the first time you mow. I am making a YouTube Video to help others like me with this mower issue and will post a link here soon showing how to fix this design flaw.

It took me about an hour to fix but I've got it working now with no problems, minimum vibrations and belt is running cool now! I've gone for 2 months with no problems now. Check back soon for the link!! I expect I will have the video tutorial finished within a week!!
