STX46 belt keeps coming off the mower deck, John Deere

check to be sure the pulley isn't damaged. there should be belt keeps that help hold the belt on the pulley. be sure the belt isn't stretched and the deck is not damaged. be sure the belt is on correctly.

Tensioner belt keeps slipping off front pully

Everett, Do you mean drive belt keeps coming off front pulley?
Possible causes, accumulated dirt/debris above deck or on trans axle, damage, stretched, wrong size belt, belt tensioner seized/missing spring if equipped, belt retainers/guides/keepers damaged /missing/ adjusted to far from pulley, damaged/worn pulleys, loose engine, belt way out of alignment, etc.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Huskee 26 hourse power 54 inc deck/how do i change both drive belts on this tractor

The one on the deck you will have to remove the deck. Flip it upside down and replace. There will be an idler wheel with a spring on it that allows you to release tension as you put the new on. The drive belt comes from the front of the motor and loops underneath to the cutting deck. There will be a point on the deck that you can get a little wiggle room to move it forward to get the belt on.

I need a diagram of the drive belt and blade belts. How they run above the deck.

Ok.... I have to guess what mower you have. I am going to pass a deck belt link below. The first pitcures that will come up are for John Deere. At the top of the page you will see brands with links to the belt routing. Click on the brand name for your mower and then locate your deck.

John Deere http://opebycrigby.tripod.com/decks/jddeck.html

MTD http://opebycrigby.tripod.com/decks/mtddeck.html

Murray: http://opebycrigby.tripod.com/decks/murdeck.html

The MTD and JD links have most deck belt routing pictures that can equate to other brands.

I have a murry 42" riding lawn mower and i just put a new deck belt and when i engage it works fine but when i disengage it the belt comes off i dont know how to fix it

This sounds like either a worn bearing, or a bent bearing carrier on the mower deck shaft. The belt is thrown off by a misalignment of the deck pully, when the belt is loosened by disengaging the mower.

The belt that comes from the engine to mower deck keeps breaking. I've owned the mower for years and I have to buy atleast 12 belts per year. The problen is really bad now. A belt per cutting. I've...

I own a Craftsman rider, DTY 4000, 25 HP Kohler, 48" cut, 137 Hrs. It eats a belt about every mowing or two. Did all the stuff you did. Good luck from Sears. Had cousin who is owns a lawn & garden repair business look at it today. Says the prob. is this - The drive belt pulley (elec clutch) has too a narrow "V" and the angle of wear between it and the deck when the deck is in the lowered (mowing) position is too severe. If you notice with the deck in the fully raised position the pulleys line up perfectly. Then drop your deck and see how tightly bent the belt is downward and it makes sense as to why(my) belt would first roll over then break in a few minutes. The elec clutch pulley is sold as one unit PT No. 179334 $250.00, but I'm sure it would come with the same narrow V pulley. Waiting for word from my cousin. My last Sears Mower. Cannot even sell it in good faith.

Deck Belt keeps coming off

I assume you mean the engine pulley by "front pulley"? Is the belt guide still in place? It bolts to the side of the frame and runs out to the engine pulley to hold the belt on when it's disengaged. Sound like your's may be missing/broken off
