My Briel Chamonix machine has started going into coffee making mode when I push the bottom button (the one that is supposed to be for heating up the machine first). It won't even let me push the button above it, the one that is for making the actual espresso.
Thanks Cynthia B.

Hello millerli, I have found success finding unusual filters by going to Amazon and trying in the brand of coffee maker and filter you are trying to find. There you will likely find a number of sellers. Good luck. Hope this is helpful to you. NormanZ
Pods are expensive. I buy espresso grind from my favorite local espresso shack and I take regular drip coffee filters and cut small discs from them to put in the bottom of the cup that holds the grounds (moisten first). It works great and keeps the finer grounds from clogging it up.
I work at Briel USA. Please send your email address to me requesting a manual for a Chamonix and I will send you one via pdf. firstname.lastname@example.org office phone 770-509-3006

You might need to prime the pump manually since the machine has been moved.
directions: Fill water tank. Turn power on. Open the steam knob all the way. Press the coffee button. Put a cup under the steam pump wand. Wait until you see a steady flow of water and no air. When you see the flow of water, close the steam knob. Turn off the coffee button. Now the machine should be ready to brew an espresso.
