Our wharfedale lcd tv ( model no. Lcd3210hdaf ) ( serial no. 5958796 600196 ) picture fades out after about 5 minutes as if someone has got the control and press minus on contrast or fade but it does it...

Loss of backlight on an LCD television will give you this type of symptom. Since the picture fades slowly, there's a good chance you may have a cold solder connection in the power supply going to the inverter PCB. Cost of the repair from a service center should be from $120-200

Arc or hump on bottom left of tv and color is faded bad.

Your convergence Ic's have gone bad. Most likely a few small resistors with them. It's really not a job you should try and takle if you haven't done it before. Not a major deal for a svc co.

I have a 52" zenith plasma tv and it has gone black and fades into a vague darker picture after a while.....everything is fine accept for the pic

the ICs or the capacitors on the main board of the tv which controls the picture quality of the tv.is either gone loose and needs resoldering.or it is going through its last phase so further problem can occur if it gets completely faulty.get it replaced before it gets completely faulty.to avoid the further problems.

Lost picture on LCD TV

Hi.

Your problem is very lightly to be A faulty invertor pcb.
Relatively easy to replace but you may find it difficult to purchase.

The invertor pcb basically makes high voltage to strike up the tube lights behind the screen.

What make & model is your tv set & what country are you in.
