Acer Aspire 5920 will not start up

last week my laptop froze when i was playing resturant city on facebook. the screen almost whited out. i tried to do ctrl alt del to try and close the web browser but that didn't work either. so i powered off to reset the computer. after i restarted the laptop it still tells me that if any hardware or software changes were made then that might be the cause. and to use the windows recovery to fix it. the first time when i tried to use the acer recovery disk to reinstall it did fine up to when it got to a blue blank windows screen and a system32/cmd came up and stayed there for 30 mins. i tried to reinstall b/c nothing was happening. and now i don't know what else to do b/c i've been making attempts a few times still using the recovery disks to try again..and all i get is a blank black screen with the mouse cursor sitting there.i can move it around..but nothing else shows up. and i'm unsure of what else to do. i got my laptop at walmart. they don't have a pc tech area and can't do anything about my laptop cept sell me a new one. and i'm getting aggrevated trying and trying.. :( can someone help me please...the last thing i wanna do is trash this laptop. u can email me at Ld_steph2@hotmail.com

Please try relaoding windows on it with a fresh cd . Looks like ur windows is gone corrupt or u have a bad hard drive . If u try to install with a windows cd u will know if ur hard drive is crashed and needs replacement . Please try it
