Re: Kenmore Elete LF problem
How full is your basket with water? Two suggestions, either low water pressure or a faulty pressure switch on the ccu. I use w10201186 if so to fix this problem. You can also check the screens on fill valves for debris.

LF means long fill. Could be caused by low water pressure or a restricted water input. Make sure that hoses are not kinked or crushed. There is usually a fine mesh screen in the water inlet at the back of the machine. Turn off the water supply valves, remove the hoses from the machine and check to be sure that the screens are not clogged with dirt.
It is also possible that the fill valves are not opening as they should.

You can find owner's manual for Kenmore Oasis washer at http://www.managemyhome.com by searching for your model number. From the Kenmore owner's manual:
"LF" (Washer is taking too long to fill)
Check the following:
Are the water inlet hoses kinked or clogged?
Are the water inlet valve screens clear?
Press STOP to clear display.
Here's a suggestion I found that worked for me:
"Check your drain hose to see it it's stuffed too far down the standpipe. Another poster had this problem and it gave her LF errors. If the drain hose hangs down too far it can siphon water out of the washer, and then the washer thinks it's taking too long too fill. There's supposed to be a U-shaped plastic bracket that sets the length of the drain hose where it goes into the standpipe. Your installer may have tossed it."
With the front door open, see if you can rotate the basket freely. If not, most likely the bearing of the rear tub is worn out. You will have to replace the whole rear tub which is about $300 for the part. I am having the same issue with my Kenmore Elite Quiet Pak 2. I'm contemplating with just buy a new top-load washer.
interrupted wash cycles and also give a code of F06. A service tech was supposed to be at my residence today... he did NOT show. This machine is little over a year old. Tried unplugging with no sucess. Any help would be appreciated.
LF = Long Fill
If the water is on and screens are clean there is a test you can do to check the log valve. There should be a repair manual inside the front panel of the machine. If yo use a screw driver in the front to open the top you should find it on the inside of the front panel. Good Luck
