Hi! That is probably the compressor relay The relay is on the compressor and needs replaced A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out Thats what is happening with yours Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay

Good day, Sounds as if the relay has failed again. ....or when relays start going bad, it could be an issue with the internal part of the compressor. But the relay approach should be your first step.
compressor pulling locked rotor. what your hearing is your current relay energizing. compressor goes off on internal overload protection and then tries to restart a few minutes later. unfortunately compressor needs to be replaced. sometimes a hard start relay will free rotor up. it can be purchased at a refrigeration supply house.
you must change out the relay to find out if the compressor is locked , but before this is done let the compressor cool to room temp. then try again.

The defroster timer, or the defrost element could be out. Also the blower motor in the freezer could be locked up. If you can hear the blower its likely the timer or the element.
