I went to the warranty service but they tried to tell me that it's normal for it to do that and that it was a temporary feature. I made them change the whole face anyway and it still doesn't work.

My samsung juke phone won't work. If I take out the battery and charge it, the screen will flash. The second I press the prongs together, it stops working.

You may need to reset the phone, but it will delete everything on the phone. You may follow the steps below:

  1. From the main screen, press the center of the navigation wheel to choose Menu.
  2. Select Settings & Tools then press the center of the navigation wheel to choose OK.
  3. Select Phone Settings then press the center of the navigation wheel to choose OK.
  4. Select Security then press the center of the navigation wheel to choose OK.
  5. Enter the lock code then press the center of the navigation wheel to choose OK.
The default lock code is the last 4-digits of the mobile number.
  6. Select Restore Phone then press the center of the navigation wheel to choose OK.
  7. Select Yes to confirm then press the center of the navigation wheel to choose OK.

As long as the system does not leak down, and the body stays up off the wheels, yes you can.

My sansa e260's navigation wheel lights up but the screen is blank. what do I do . It may be the battery is completely dead. Bob L.

Your battery is not dead because if it was, then navigation wheel would not be lighting up. Your screen is blank because when you touch the navigation wheel, you probably decrease the brightness of the screen. Turn the wheel counterclockwise, as this will brighten up the screen display. Press the center button when done. Reply back if this solution does not help.

Look on ebay for an REC Joystick replacement. In the mean time you can hold down the middle button on the right side of the back of the steering wheel, where you can control the radio features. When you hold this button down, a little red wheel symbol appears on the navigation screen which means you can control the navigation system from the steering wheel controls. This works for simple tasks until you get the replacement joystick. They are about $30 and take about an hour to install.

2007 Honda Civic Navigation Screen went black

Had same problem with 2008 Honda Civic.
Note: you will need anti-theft code so get it first!
Solution:
1. Turn ignition off.
2. Look for fuse box under steering wheel.
3. Remove fuse #35 which is for the Navi-audio unit.
4. Then re-insert the fuse. This will reset the system.
5. Turn ignition on and the Navi-audio on. Buttons WILL be working now.
6. The unit will request for the anti-theft code for Navi-audio system. Enter the 4 digit code....Yippee!
However, I lost all my radio preset stations. Thankfully my saved destinations in navigation system were intact.

Could you be more specific? Are you trying to navigate using the wheel on the right-side of the unit? Is the wheel turning but nothing happens?

It could be you're trying to navigate via the keypad, which doesn't work. I know, I've tried it. It's not exactly intuitive to only have the wheel work, but that's how my unit works, in any case.
