Just got that phone from T-mobile. Every time I get a text message a warning "Memory low" comes up. After getting about 10 messages it is showing "Memory full" and will not let me receive or compose messages till I delete some.
Few times after deleting text messages I was getting this error: "Memory still needed to receive messages: 4294370445 Kb" Somehow I doubt that someone is sending me a 4Tb worth of text messages
According to phone storage details I still have 11564 Kb free. I have done a master reset and master clear. With phone completely blank the Message Memory meeter is showing 5 out of 6 dials full. It appears that if I am to add calendar entries, alarm clock, phonebook etc the amount of text messages i can receive drops to 1... And all that time my free memory does not go below 11000 Kb.
I am unable to locate an option to switch Text Message storage location to SIM card or Micro SD. Is there a way to do that, or possibly a mod/hack available to correct this issue?
One of my few complaints about my Z3 is the low message capacity. I have a 2gb sd card in there...why can't I store more than 500 texts? But...500 is a lot more than 10, there's definitely a problem here. I know there's a way to change the default storage location, although I'm not sure it will change the location of texts or not. Here's how to do it: Go to the main menu and select "Settings". Scroll down to "Phone Status" and select it. Then select "Download Location" and finally, select the memory card.
Now...What concerns me the most is the 4Tb message flood O_o

Same issues here after 3 phone replacements by them T-Mobile
Also I thought I was the only one having issues with Z3 Phone but not, check out Motorola RIZR Z3 forum at http://www.phonescoop.com/forums/search.php?q=Motorola+RIZR+Z3
Z3 turns OFF itself while talking, taking a photo, video or checking messages.
It will also reboot while just sitting idle.
Major Lint issue on behind the main display
I've got the same problem! Cracked my screen and when I tried to replace it with one I bought off eBay I got nothing but a white screen when I turned it on! Returned that screen and got another one from a different seller and still get the white screen. So I'm thinking its not the LCD screen, unless I just have bad luck. The keypad is also new, but now I'm gonna try to replace the ear piece flex cable set, because I can't figure out what else could be wrong with it. The phone powers on and operates as normal calls (incoming/outgoing with texts); I can even hear out of the ear piece.
So... Anybody have any ideas? anybody? breaker breaker...haha
