If thelaptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

My Casio AP 620 Celviano says "Loading" soon as I switch it on but is not working

Could possibly power supply problem. If you're running through a multi-board, try running directly into the outlet. Failing that, try another power outlet altogether.
The Celviano range aren't real power hoggers once going, but initialising and starting up takes a bit of omph.

I have a panasonic plasma tv model TH42pZ80u series i think. as soon as i switch it on all the electricity on my house top floor switches off from the main electricity socket. dont know what to do!

There is a direct short circuit inside the power outlet, or in the mains cord of the TV. Switch off and remove the plug of the TV and just switch on the power outlet to make sure whether that is the culprit. If you have a multimeter, test the TV cord pins for short between phase and neutral and earth. If you notice short, this may need attention by a qualified service technician.

I replaced the lamp in my 46HM95 and as soon as I turned it on, the screen flickers. Any ideas?

Reset the lamp hour meter. Unplug the unit in the main power outlet then turn on the main power switch on. Press and hold the ON, stand by, menu and Input buttons at the same time the buttons are on the projector. Though the same buttons are found on the remote control, the reset only works with the projectors buttons.Plug the power cord back in to the outlet while holding the buttons ON, STANDBY, MENU, INPUTS buttons at the same time, the lamp timer will reset when the projector receive power. Good day and best regards.

Microwave pops hose breakers. Microwave gets

The problem is in the microwave oven, you have a short in the power supply or it could be a defective door switch, either way the unit needs to be checked out.

No power when I turn on nd plug up the tv

Is the outlet you're using connected to a switch on the wall? Some houses have outlets that are 1/2 switch controlled.
Either try it in the other half of the outlet, or flip wall switches and try to turn it on again.
Or, if you're on a power strip, make sure it's turned on.

Yah, I hav an Samsnug moinker that don't come on whens is plugged into tha top plug hole in the wall, but duz when its plugged in the bottom\r\none. I payed a lot of money for this. Can I get it back?

Check your outlets. The top outlet may be connected to a switch in the room. (It was meant for connecting a lamp that you could turn on as you walked in and then turn off as you leave the room.) Find the switch and leave it on. Then the monitor will work in both outlets. (If the room is large, a three-way switch may have been installed. In that case, you will need to make sure no one turns off the circuit using the other switch(es).)

An easy solution might be to connect a surge protection power strip or UPS to the always on bottom outlet. Then connect all of your devices to the power strip.

If the outlet is not a switched outlet, then you check the outlet itself. It is very unlikely to have only one outlet of a pair not work for most units. Outlet testers tell if you have power to the outlet as well as checking the polarity.

I hope this helps.

(I do not think the monitor is at fault since it does work in one outlet. If you return it, you will probably have to pay a restocking fee.)

It wont power up bro

It is possible that your monitor is on a GFI switch. These switches turn off if they detect a problem that could incur a shock, or if they are getting worn. Check if there is a power outlet in the same room with a red and black switch. If so, push the reset switch, typically the red one.

Your monitor may also be on a switch activated outlet. Is it plugged into the top outlet? See if a wall switch nearby controls the outlet. then try turning on your monitor.

Is the surge protector your monitor is plugged into turned on?

Check the cord on the back of your monitor. It is possible it may be loose. Plug it in all the way.

Some Viewsonic monitors have a power pack that is not inside the monitor case. Check the wiring between it and the wall and between the pack and the monitor for frays.

We have arc fault breakers on our house built in 2002. in trying to plug in our 40'' lcd tv the breaker kicks out as soon as the plug touches the outlet. We've even tried brand new high end TrippLite surge...

Well, considering all TV's these days have what is called a SMPS which means Switch Mode Power Supply. As soon as your plug enters the outlet it will ark, because the power supply starts up immediately, so my suggestion would be is to kill the breaker to that room then plug the set in and then reset the breaker. Let me know how it turns out.
