How do i block websites(such as facebook and youtube) from my wireless modem at work? I really hope to have detail description if possible. Thank you.

Contact your wireless provider there is a setting in your modem setup that needs to allow facebook and not block it. I had the same happen after using it for a while it blocked it and they walked me thru to unblock it.

Try uploading a video to Facebook, like William Nelson and see if that works.

These are the possible reasons why you can't open your Facebook/ Facebook Account
1. Wrong email and password - Please check if you are using the right combination of your email and password. If you forgot your password, you can reset it by clicking the forgot password below the password box.
2. Blocked sites. If you are navigating from your school, may be the administrator has blocked websites such as Facebook and other social networking sites.
3. Router block. Some wireless routers have features that can block URL using its URL blocking interface.
4. What country are you from? - Facebook must have block access from your country.
5. Your account was hacked. If you're account was hacked/block or disabled for some reason, got to Facebook Help Center. And follow the instructions that suits your needs. I once locked my account because it was hacked. And then followed the instructions sent by Facebook Help. In a week, my account was reinstated. Pay attention to detail and be patient.

Perhaps you could try a proxy? It's possible it still won't work, but go here: http://proxy.org/ and put youtube or facebook in the box to the right. If it still doesn't, there are alternative sites like http://www.dailymotion.com/

It really depends on how the blocking is implemented.
One of the things you might be able to do is set up Remote Desktop on VNC on your home computer then use that to access facebook or youtube on your home computer through a RD or VNC client.
The other solution may be to access facebook/youtube by their IP address. You can also change the HOSTS file to use a different domain name to redirect to fb/youtube.

It probably has been blocked at the modem or router. You would have to have access to the modem or router which is usually 192.168.2.1 or something close to that. But you have to know user name and password. In the modem and even most routers have the ability to block particular websites that they may not want employees to access.
If the company is wanting to remove the block and doesnt know the password they can call the particular manufacturer of what ever brand it is and normally get it reset. Most dont have a forgotten password email option..

Many universities, schools, offices and certain countries such as China, Pakistan, Iran, North Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, etc. block various websites / services.
Try using a free public proxy server, or a free software like Tor to access blocked / banned websites.

Do you belong in a network? If so, ask your administrator to unblock this sites. If not ask your ISP to check your modem if these site were blocked or check your firewall or anti virus if these sites were blocked.
