Question about ASUS EN7600GT/2DHT/256 (256 MB) PCI Express Graphic Card

1 Answer

Distorted images Hi, I have an ASUS EN7600 GT card. I have got it replaced twice already due to distorted images. The distorted images started when i boot up and it won't even let me enter windows startup before dying and my screen goes into sleep mode. Twice I have replaced with a repaired card and both replaced cards died within 1 weeks of replacement with exactly the same problem. I have been using the card for almost 2 years before this problem surfaced. I have running it on a MSI P965 motherboard. Is it a computability problem?

Sounds more like a problem with the drivers and/or the settings for resolution or refresh rate, have you tried to boot into safe mode and uninstall the drivers ? Also when you do this you may want to use a regisrty cleaner to remove all traces to the drivers in your registry as some driver do not remove all trace from the registry upon uninstallation.

Hi i replaced my bulb for Sony VPLBW5 now i am not getting a clear picture anymore, its very distorted and something seems very wrong

It's very unlikely that this is a due to a faulty bulb.

It's possible that there is a fault with the projector which existed before you relamped it, (i don't know the exact circumstances) but you could try the following steps

1) If the old lamps still works, remove the new one and replace it with the old one. fire the projector up and see what happens. If nothing happens replace the new one again, making sure you don't touch any glass parts (as it can shorten lamp life) or any other internal parts.

2) Turn the projector on and check the image with different picture sources and cables to rule out a fault there. Is the image distorted while the projectors warms up and displays the startup screen? If the image looks correct the problems is likely to be outwith the projector. If the startup image is distorted then the problem is likely to be with the projector.

You should ensure that the lens is free from obstructions. It won't make much difference in most instances but you could clean it with a soft cloth, taking care not to damage it.

Hopefully these steps will help you fix the problem.

Distorted picture.

Is the menu text clear on the screen, when it's focused correctly. Or is that also distorted.
If the menu text is OK then the picture signal is dodgy. could be due to a bad earth lead on the video cable.
Is it distorted on all signal inputs

Sony DSC-t33 lcd monitor is distorted.Pictures

It's a faulty CCD imager - a very common problem with the T33 - the imager has to be replaced. You can buy it from and replace the CCD yourself (ask seller the instructions).

Scanner working wrong

Distorted images with lines present from scanned pics arises when the power supply is already below the rated output voltage or regulated power supply is defective. try fixing the power supply section but check if it still have a correct output voltage, or replace the power supply with a new one if the power supply of your scanner is a plug in type, or try to plug the scanner somewhere else in your place... hope this help :-)
