R u sure its the screen??? just joking my friend :)

ok turn on your computer.
keep clicking on F8 key.
until you have the advanced boot menu
now use the up-down arrow keys.
highlight (safe mode with networking).
press enter.
if you get another page asking about which operating system to use.
hit enter again.
now you will have a prompt talking about safe mode just hit yes.
now go to the computer's manufacturer website and download the video drivers.

that should be it or the video card is not working anymore.

Video driver is not connecting

What do you mean the video driver is not connecting? Exactly what is happening? You don't connect the video driver to anything, it's software inside the computer.

Maybe you are saying your screen is not displaying anything. If so, the issue could be the video driver or the monitor. To isolate the problem try connecting another monitor to the computer. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor displays ok, then your video card is ok, but your original monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor does not display then your video card inside the computer is bad.

My Dell laptop just froze up and died. Won't reboot or start up. Is it a battery problem or something else?

hi,first you can do a power drain where you have to take the battery out and then press and hold the power button for 2 minutes without the battery.put the battery back after 2 minutes and see if it can turn on if the problem still persists then see if you are atleast able to see the power button light and other lights are glowing if yes and still you dont see anything on the screen then it might be either a video card issue or display issue to check connect a external monitor on to the VGA port and press and hold Fn KEY and press F8 once and see if you are able to see anything on the external screen if yes then display issue if no then video card issue.
now to isolate the problem turn of the system and press and hold the Fn KEY AND THEN press power buton both at the same time untill you see anything on the screen it will start a diagnostic on the system and also give a error code with description of the cause

My computer screen keeps jumping, what can I do?

Change your computer display settings: try a lower resolution first like 800 X 600 then gradually increase it until your monitor 'complains' (eg. is not stable and jumps around or cannot display anything properly). You could also fine tune your video card display 'frequency' if it has been set higher than 50 or 60 htz as your momitor may not be able to handle anything higher.

Acer Aspire One continuous beeping at power on, until Windows screen comes on

Need to check the BIOS beep codes but I'm fairly sure that continuous beeping on boot is a display adaptor card issue. If you don't see anything on the screen until that point it may be something is set wrongly for the display within BIOS and it can't sort it out until Windows takes control of the system.

My Compaq keyboard won't display ''print screen'' when I press that key (prt scr). Everything else works fine on the keyboard. I purchased the computer/keyboard about 7 years ago. Thanks very much for any...

The print screen button doesn't usually do/display anything other then pasting the image on the screen to the clipboard. go into another application like word or paint and select ctrl+v to paste (or right click then select paste) If you hold Ctrl then press print screen, it will only copy the open window.

I have an Evesham Explorer A5500 notebook Laptop and earlier when i was usuing it the screen became covered in white lines i rebooted to try and fix the problem but now when i turn on my laptop the screen...

Take a bright light and shine it on the screen when it is on. Can you barely see any display, but really dark? If so, the lamp or the lamp inverter has failed (some laptops use LEDs instead of CCFL lamps and has no inverter either).

Just hooking up to another display doesn't necessary tell you anything if it doesn't show anything. As sometimes you have to change a settings in the BIOS, use the Fn key plus another key that looks like a monitor, or change it through a display menu on the screen.

Am using compaq presario cq50 the device display doesnt show anything but other than than display screen everything is working.. properly...

Your laptop is probably working with an external display.
Try to change the setting, by pressing the function key (usually on the bottom left of your keyboard) and the Fx key with a monitor (I don't know exactly which key it is but usually is F4 / F5 or F6).
