Blades have proved to be the main wearing parts. However, they do have a good life expectancy. Blades are made from special material, hardened and heat-treated to a standard which results in a blade that is hard but not brittle.

Oil Changed, New spark plug & filter. No start. Pull cord and makes starting noise then off.

Sounds like contaminated or stale fuel OR dirt/moisture in the carburetor. Remove the float bowl from the carburetor, clean it out, use some carburetor spray cleaner to clean the main jet in the carburetor and reasssemble

What is the Craftsman model number?

The model number is usually under the seat, or on the platform the seat mounts to or on the main frame below the seat area. It will be a number with this format 917.xxxxxx the x's being 6 numbers 0 thru 9. It will be an adhesive sticker with those numbers as well as date codes etc. They are not stamped into the frame anywhere

My craftsman 6.0 22inch mulcher will start but then stalls but If I keep priming it will run as long as I keep priming

your carburetor needs rebuilt is the most likely culprit. You could have a clogged fuel line. My Toro did that and I had the carb rebuilt and it fixed it.

Mulchers storage

when its empty you can store anywhere you like but when its full try and keep in open place due to smell that may burst from the mulcher.
