1. From what you have described this sound as though the video card ( internal) is defective. Most mother boards have video cards on the mother board.
2. use a know good video card and install it to the mother board > there should be ample slots to install it.
3. The OS (operating system should see the installed video card immediately and install drivers if you see a screen then this has isolated the problem to video.
If you don't see any video then you have a defective mother board.
I have no idea, why is my question at Motheboards section. I selected Computer Components.
@ Solutions58:
Thanks for your solution, but thats not it. Graphic card is ATI 6970 and there is no point if the monitor connected or not. It is still clearly white. I have tried two computers and I can say for sure, that there is something wrong with the monitor.
I will add this information to my question and try to post it again under Computer Components. Hopefully it will be placed there.
I must have misread your statement. I was sure from what I read it was a video card issue.
If this is the LCD then is possibly the lcd controller (internal to the LCD monitor). You clearly have luminous to the screen so therefore the LCD controller and other components are failing or have failed. Usually these are electrolytic capacitors in the main board of the the Monitor and they have to be replaced. Also you could have diode and resistance that have failed at the vga connecting point on the LCD.
