How do i set up eye pieces and focus lenses?? Instruction manual came in chinese with no translation and we are begiiners!

During the day:
1. Point to a far (1000 meters or more) object
2. Insert the lowest power (highest number) eyepiece e.g. 25mm
3. focus on the object.
4. Align finder to match what you see in the scope.
At night.
1. Put scope out and let it reach the temperature of the outside.
2. Point finder to the moon (1st object you should always use to check scope and finder alignment)
3. Use the same low power eyepiece.
4. If everything seems fine, switch to a higher power eyepiece and enjoy the view. You may have to slightly adjust the finder to align with the main scope.
If the views are blurry, the telescope may be out of collimation. Look on the internet for generic collimation instructions.
If this still did not help. Throw the scope out! Its probably a piece of junk and will only discourage you.

IMAGE IS BLURRY THROUGH ENTIRE FOCAL RANGE AND WITH ALL EYEPIECES

DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser and practice focusing on a distant object during the day time.

If i just put my telescope together and still cant see out of it what is the problem

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.

Next time DO NOT buy a Tasco brand telescope. They are considered toy telescopes!

I just bought the Barska 80060 telescope and put it together but I cannot focus on anything. All I see is gray.

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. Make sure the lens cap is OFF.

Practice focusing during the day time on a distant object. DO NOT USE the 2 x barlow if you have one.

Image through telescope is tiny!

Never heard of that brand of telescope. Next time buy one from one of these retailers:

http://www.agenaastro.com/Telescope-s/1.htm

http://www.optcorp.com/

http://www.telescope.com/control/main/

Try putting the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope. Then go outside during the daytime and practice focusing on a distant object.

Problem with image

Stars are blurry period thats just the way they are. and with the worlds atmosphere (air) you'll always get a slight waviness...even when viewing planets.

Same

Obscured view through telescope

You can slow down dew forming on the mirror by NOT pointing the telescope toward the sky during cool-down-- just leave it parallel to the ground. Same goes for your eyepieces -- leave them covered, or inside a case.

Konus 1730

This is a simple refractor telescope-- PUT the diagonal into the focuser and then put the eyepiece into the diagonal-- that's all there is too it! :)

Practice focusing during the day time on a distant object.
