Senco makes 2 different styles of air tools.Some require oil and some do not.Check owners manual to see if this requires oil. Mechanical< You may have a bent driver or a bad air return valve witch is located under the top exhaust cap.Senco does sell drivers,valves and kits at local air tool shops.

MOst likely the planetary gears in the head og the drill. There is a small pinion gear which drives the larger gear to make the chuck turn.
