When breaking oversize material the breaker is expected to break the material down the middle into two pieces. This is optimum production. If the operator has to re-position the breaker towards the edge of the rock and gradually downsize the material, production rate slows down. To assess what size of breaker will effectively handle this application, the size and hardness of the material must be known. If a 4 cu. yard piece of hard rock (20,000 psi or greater) needs to be broken in half you will require a 7,500-ft. lb. or larger breaker. If a 2 cu .yd. piece of limestone (20,000 psi or less) needs to be broken in half you will require a 3,000 - 5,000-ft. lb. breaker.

Not sure of what you're asking (Wifi?). There are 3 main types of circuit breakers. The standard, the arc fault, and GFCI type breakers.

Hi Majohn
Seems you're dealing with a very old engine type. I think what you need to do is go through the timing step by step. Start with the valve timing and work your way forward from there. Once you've checked the valve timing is correct, go from there to the distributor and the gear drive for the same equipment.
Make sure that all are correctly timed and on there marks. I guess you are using a strobe timing light. Have you disconnected the vacuum advance pipe and blocked it? The best way of timing that particular engine type is static. The gap should be set at 0.45mm. After setting align the crankshaft marks with the marker on the timing case cover and set the contact breakers at the point of opening at 8 degrees BTDC. The use of a 12volt bulb with two cables. Ground one and connect the other to the contact where the points and condenser are connected. The light will illuminate at the break point, when the contact breakers have only just opened. A gentle touch to the distributor cam should make the lamp flash on and when released off. That is the point of ignition.
If you need more help, let me know.

What is the difference between standard size main bearing and oversize main bearing. Which is best for the 5.4L V8 engine

thats a good un? ok standard bearings are a standard size,,,over size bearings are smaller in the center to make up for the metal that has been removed from when the bearing was re-fased
ie: ground down to smooth it off so its flat again,,,,,now you can fit oversized bearings on a standerd bearing becouse they would be far to tight and would lock the bearing up,,,,so you need to re-grind the bearing serfice or fit standerd bearings back in,,,only if the shaft is a good one?
i hope this has help you out

(1) List of standard fuses (2) Calculation

I can help here but need more information. In all cases you need to know what load is "downstream" from the breaker or fuse. You do not want to put in one that is too small but also, and more importantly, one that is not too large. Can you ask a more specific question?

I have a suzuki vitara 1991 i just bought whos ignition is damaged, where can I find one in good condition?

If you go onto yahoo or google and type in "car breakers" they will give you a form to fill in and contact a load of breakers. The breakers will then let you know who has the parts you are looking for and the price. Best of luck.

Breakers support

When breaking Concrete, the breaker is expected to penetrate the material, allowing it to crack and shake loose from the reinforcing steel. High frequency breakers tend to provide better performance in this application as it is not the energy per blow, but the fast blow rate that destroys the concrete's structural integrity. We recommend on concrete walls, footings, and floors to use a 750 - 1,500-ft. lb. breaker. With larger projects, consisting of large footings greater then 4 cu. yards, use a 2,000 - 5,000-ft. lb. breaker. The high production demand of bridge and building demolition requires a 7,500 - 10,000-ft. lb. breaker.

Breakers advice

When trenching, the breaker is expected to fracture a solid mass of rock into manageable pieces. The size of the material could be 100's of cu.yds, and the energy will be quickly absorbed. This is why it is recommended to work from a bench so the rock has somewhere to break out. We recommend when trenching in limestone or medium hard rock, to use a 3,000 - 5,000-ft. lb. breaker. When working in hard material we recommend a 7,500 - 10,000-ft.lb. breaker, and if high production is critical, a 13,500-ft.lb. breaker would be beneficial.
