P1811
The transmission pressure is modified by an adaptive modifier which controls the shift execution time. This diagnostic tests the time required to accomplish the shift. If the shift takes longer than 0.65 seconds and the adaptive modifier cannot shorten this time, then a counter increases by one.
If the PCM detects a counter value of 2 during one trip, then DTC P1811 sets. DTC P1811 is a type C DTC
The 1-2, 2-3 or 3-4 shift is longer than 0.65 seconds, twice in one trip.

Ask the customer about possible overloading, exceeding the trailer towing limit, or towing in overdrive.

Ensure that the current PCM calibration is correct for the final drive ratio.


  1. Use the scan tool snapshot mode in order to record the shift times.
  2. Drive the vehicle in D4 in order to obtain a 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 upshift.
  3. Record the shift times.
Did all the shift times exceed the specified value?
0.65 seconds
Perform the Line Pressure Check Procedure.
Refer to the Line Pressure Check .
Is the line pressure within specifications?

The touch screen does not respond to touch except for one small spot in the upper left corner where it says "job list". Can not log on to copy


Due to the environment, over time conductivity of the touchscreen connection deteriorates because of high temperature or high humidity. Consequently, the area between the conductive cover and glass expands and loses connection. Today, The Touchscreen has been modified and should be replaced when the symptom occurs

Ok so my engine is making a ticking sound in the far back what is it?


My guess is that it's a lifter. It's best to talk with a dealership mechanic about the best course of action with your specific vehicle. Usually a engine will last a very long time with a lifter tick. And don't forget to always check for recalls on all the cars you own. Here is a couple I found for your call. In this case it has nothing to do with your ticking problem but for future reference its always a good idea to make sure it's not part of the problem.

I have a 79 ford f-150 with a 351w modified engine. when i first start the engine it has approx. 65 psi oil pressure. as the engine warms up the pressure slowly drops off to around 12 psi.the oil is clear...


First off its not a 351W modified. you are confusing two different blocks. its either a 351 windsor or a 351m (modified) and if it is the modified its not that bad. these engines are notorious for having low oil pressure. at idle they can be anywhere between 10 and 40. as long as you gain 10 psi per 1000 rpm its fine. and a pump doesnt drop off as it gets warm. it either works or it doesnt, oil pressure dropping off is a bottom end bearing problem

DTC P1750: Mechanical Problem in Hydraulic Control System of A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Assemblies A and B, or Problem in Hydraulic Control System

NOTE:
• Record all freeze data and review General Troubleshooting Information before you troubleshoot.
• Keep these replacement solenoid valves on hand:
• A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves A and B
1. Check whether the OBD II scan tool indicates another code. Does the OBD II scan tool indicate another code? YES - Perform the troubleshooting flowchart for the indicated code(s). Recheck for code P1750 after troubleshooting. NO - Go to step 2.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
3. Replace the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves A and B.
4. Reset the PCM memory with the PGM Tester or by removing the BACK UP fuse in the passenger's underdash fuse/relay box for more than 10 seconds .
5. Drive the vehicle for several minutes in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears in the position.
6. Recheck for code P1750. Does the OBD II scan tool indicate code P1750? YES - Replace the transmission. NO - The problem has been corrected
