My electric jack hammer 1700W stopped and now nothing happens when i depress the trigger. What can i do ?

Check the brushes first, they're the easiest and most likely cause of your problems. New tools are being equipped with brushes that have non-conductive pins in them that pop out when the brushes wear down so the armature doesn't get damaged. Next, do continuity checks to see if power is geting to and through the switch. Many cords get internal breaks at or near the boot where they go into the tool from frequent bending or at he plug end from being unplugged by pulling on the cord and not he end peice. If the cord is good, check that power is going through the switch.

Where can I find a 240v Bosch 11240 SDS Max Rotary Hammer drill that I can take and use in Ghana

You'll be hard pressed to find one that doesn't run on 110v. You might be able to look on ebay and buy something from the UK like this for example:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bosch-GBH4-32DFR-NEW-Multidrill-4Kg-Rotary-Hammer-With-Accessories-240V-/160648807099?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item25676a42bb

Or you could just get a power adapter. Make sure they will work for the amount of amps that the tool will be pulling.

Hammer action is very weak for kango 900 demolition hammer

Check the brushes. If that doesn't work, try cleaning and re-lubricating. Your local tool rental company may be able to either service it or send it to someone who can (for a fee of course).

@runs hot motor feels slow doesnt hit hard

Bosch brute is made to work all day every day and will continue to do so if it is not over or under powered and properly lubed. If not powered correctly, motor will not turn at full rpm, get very hot and burn brushes to point that auto stop feature will stop motor (brush will push away from armature, or burn switch). The hammer will overheat if too long or wrong gauge of cord is used. Also if run on generator with voltage /cycles incorrect. Under normal use, motor will not get very hot. Another problem with overheating is that the grease will melt out of range to do any proper lubrication. If you are sure that it is getting proper voltage /amps then may need lubrication or bearing work. Remove bearing cover and turn armature by hand. It should be easy to turn. If stiff, suspect bearing/grease. With amp meter connected, check amp draw and compare to rated amps.

I have a bosch brute hammer drill, that just stopped working after 2 hours of breaking up concrete and rock. It is brand new, and worked fine to start with, but then gradually took longer and longer to...

Take it back as it is still under warranty. If there was anything you could do other than letting it cool down it would be in the instructions.( which you have since it is brand new.)

Runs but doesnt engage rotary or hamer. the machine itself looks in great condition its called bosch buldog extreme.

there is a selector knob on the side that controls the tool functions for drill only/hammer with drill/ and hammer only. make sure it is in the proper setting. If it still doesn't rotate then you have a gear or a broken selector. If no hammer then you have worn o rings or a stuck ram. try the selector first and if still no change please be more specific if no hammer at all, or no rotation even when selector moved.

Runs **** does not hammer

could be stuck striker or just worn parts from use. They make a service kit for this tool if you are handy and have the proper tools, The bolts holding this together are extremely tight. let me know if you want to try it yourself or if you need assistance to find a repair center near you. If you do I would need your city, state and zip code. Good luck

Breaker Hammers size question

After considering the application work, determine the carrier on which the breaker will be installed. Gorilla Hammers has assigned a 'Recommended Carrier Weight' range to each breaker. If the operating weight of the carrier falls within this range, the carrier will safely handle this model of breaker. If the desired breaker falls outside of this recommended carrier weight range, the carriers lifting capacity and oil flow will need to be verified to ensure a proper fit. Lifting Capacity: Provided the weight of the breaker does not exceed the maximum lifting capacity at any position, the carrier is assumed to be stable. On most loader backhoes and excavators, the maximum lifting capacity is lowest when the boom is at full reach. This is the value that must be compared to the operating weight of the breaker. Oil Flow and Operating Pressure: A required oil flow range is specified for each breaker. Oil flow to the breaker within this range is adequate for operation. However, for maximum productivity the carrier should be capable of providing the maximum required flow. Compare the maximum oil flow requirement of the breaker with the oil flow capacity of the carrier. Remember the breaker operates at 1500-2500-psi. therefore, oil flow should be evaluated at operating pressure.
