Grills, whether they are stainless steel or not, are not designed to keep out the weather, bird droppings, pollen, etc. Using the cover will help maintain the look and integrity of the grill, as well as the warranty. Warranties don't cover damage due to neglect. Impressing the neighbors with a nice looking stainless steel grill is one thing. Impressing them with the way if cooks is even better. Especially, if it works as it should each time.

I am replacing burners and I need to know if the burners if they go tightened or loose.

you need to clean your difusser for that burner,
its probably have gunk built up on it

Call Weber to receive free warrenty burners. Have model and serial number found inside one of the doors on your grill. I just received them in the mail about a week ago and just replaced my burners today. Here is what I did.

Remove the grates and burner heat deflectors. There are 4 screws on the knob panel, 2 on the left and 2 on the right. Remove the screws and pull back about a inch or two. I found it helpful to open all the doors a bit to rest the panel on them. The burners should remove easily once this is done. Replace the burner tubes and be sure tubes have holes facing up on the one side for correct heat distribution. When placing the knob panel back on, make sure that burner tubes go onto the gas control knob correctly. Replace screws on the knob panel.
