Hi, I had broken the LCD underneath the touch screen and have the opportunity to get a BE-300 with just a broken touchscreen. So I basically want to swap my screen into the other one. My problem :
How do I open this PDA. I took out five screws, took out the dummy door and the battery compartment cover, but I was not able to separate the top from the bottom so I could take out the screen. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks.

As I remember it has some plastic bulges that fit into some indentations. Some gentle prying toward the bottom should show you some success.
To get the things that hold it together apart you need to press in on one part and lift up on the other, but don't remember which.
If you don't get it email me and I will go dig my old one out of the junk box and see which is which.
It, by the way has a good screen/touchscreen I think, the light circuit got busted on it and I can't get parts.
