My sprayer primes very slow and never builds up enough pressure to stop the motor, I am able to paint with the available pressure, but it is low.

Hi well in this case you need to check, you air inlet valve, your air outlet valve, the pressure sensor, for leaks, restrictions, or for sticking and also check for any blockages in the hoses too?

How do I adjust the pressure on an old Northstar Pressure washer. Honda 18.0 HP, GX610 V-Twin

The following link will give you great troubleshooting for all pressurewashers. http://www.pressurewasherservice.ca/serv02.htm

There are several way to increase pressure. Primary way is to turn the pressure regulator knob in the direction to increase tension on the spring. Pressure regulator is located on the pump (or very neer) and usually has a large spring. Sometimes the spring is hidden under a twist knob. If the adjuster seems to be already turned to max then you may need to just change the pressure tip. The tip/nozzle is actually where the pressure is created by restricting the flow of water thru a very small opening. Use a new tip of the same gpm flow that is required by your machine. 18 hp machine has potential for very high pressure and high gallons per minute. Use trouble shooting guide above for more information. Good luck

Whirlpool duet washer troubleshooting: What does washer display code 'F35' mean?

This indicates that the pressure switch or also called the analog pressure sensor has failed. First you will need to remove the top lid. Usually 2 or 3 screws on the back and the top comes right off. The pressure switch has a clear hose and a clump of wires going to it. Then unplug the hose and blow thru it it should be clear. Check the hose for leaks or obstructions. Also in the back of the washer on the left hand side is a air dome this is where it gets it pressure reading from, make sure it is not obstructed. If all is clear the pressure switch will need to be replaced. Here is a link to help with accessing the pressure switch also if you need diagrams or illustrations of your particular model.

Got a 200,000 BTU that won't light. Replaced the rocker switch and igniter. Igniter glows and I can see the fuel going past the igniter, but it won't fire up.

You must start troubleshooting by setting the air pump pressure. Low pump pressure or air leak can cause the problem that you are experiencing. If you check the pressure and it's up to specs, then the nozzle may need replacing.
