My mm100 won't charge. In fact, when I plug them in the charging light is not lit at all. I tried charging via USB and the same thing is occurring, which is that the mm100 won't charge- there's no light at all to indicate what might be wrong.

It works only via USB to PC because that is not only the way to transfer MP3 files from your PC to the player/headphones, but one way to charge the player's battery. You can also charge the player with the USB cable by plugging it in a USB wall charger. So let it fully charge in the PC or the wall charger and then take it with you while you walk, work out, etc. There is nothing wrong with your player (maybe the fact that there is no indicator when it is charging and when it is fully charged ??).

My experience is that after charging for some tens of minutes it will start. But I seem to be unable to charge the battery enough to have it work for long.

Had same problem with blinking lights and not charging.
Plug charger base in (blinking lights), remove controllers, and plug USB cable into front charge slot (behind hinged panel). This reset charger base and lights stopped blinking. As FYI - the USB was connected to other device (charging it). Add the controllers and correct charging lights show up - including the controller 1 and 2 symbols. Controllers now charging.

Hi there. It sounds like the USB connector has broken off the phones motherboard. You can order a replacement part from www.cnn.cn and replace it yourself. You're looking for the USB charging port. If you're not comfortable taking apart the phone and soldering, your best bet is a new phone. Alex

It sounds like a defective unit, although I am not familiar with that model... If both charging methods don't work, I would recommend a manufacturer replacement.

This truly depends on the make and model of your camera. If it uses a rechargeable pack, make sure to fully charge the battery and try it. If this still doesn't work, try plugging it in the computer via USB. If it turns on, then your battery pack may be causing the problem. I would suggest you to bring it to your nearest service center for them to check it out, especially if you still have warranty and so they can replace the battery pack. Some cameras have a reset button at the very bottom (or look into your camera's manual if there is such a thing for your camera) which could be an option as well.

The battery will not charge when the device is turned on. Make sure that when you connect it to your computer via its usb that you do not turn it on otherwise it wont charge.


The annoying thing about this device is that when you connect it to your computer and turn it on, on the LCD it will say "connecting via usb" and the memory bar will show that it is fully charged, however the battery is not. This must just be a design flaw as the battery won't be charged.

Just remember to plug it in and leave it, do not turn it on!

Yes I had the same problem. Under some circumstances the MM100 freezes (didn't figure out when just yet). It's a software issue inside. Solution: open left speaker (the side with the charge connector and hence the battery). Discharge the battery (or just short circuit for half a second) and it works again. Sennheiser should built a reset button on these things.
